Ohio Flooring Experts has refinished hardwood floors across Greater Cleveland since 2002. We are a family-owned company specializing in sanding, refinishing, staining, and repair of worn, scratched, or cupped hardwood floors. Our dust-contained sanding system captures about 99% of sanding dust at the source, so most homeowners stay in the house during the job. A typical full-floor refinish takes 2 to 3 days: sanding to bare wood, optional stain, and three coats of finish. Floors are usually walkable the same evening and ready for furniture the next day. We serve Chagrin Falls, Solon, Beachwood, Shaker Heights, Cleveland, Parma, Lakewood, Westlake, and surrounding communities. Free same-day estimates.

There truly is not enough good things I could say about this company. These guys came in after a previous contractor completely destroyed my house. What they did in turn was nothing short of magical. They were on time, always communicating, and very punctual. They were always clean with their work and never left a mess. The project was slated to be 3 days and it took exactly that. We had Ohio Flooring Expert refinish about 1,800SF of wood floors in our newly purchased home that we were renovating. I had received a couple estimates from other contractors and am very glad we proceeded with them. They were very communicative, professional, friendly, and overall very enjoyable to work with. We had a couple small add-ons to their scope and were very fairly priced. We had them infill some areas with old radiant heating grilles and they did an amazing job at making it look seamless. I would definitely use them again and suggest them to anyone looking to have their wood floors refinished!

Wonderful work replacing some of the engineered hardwood floorboards that had been damaged with wear and tear and fixing some smaller dings and scrapes on other boards. Tom was wonderful, kind and careful. He gave us good advice on which to replace and which to repair, was not being aggressive to inflate the price but realistic and that was appreciated. Cleaned up and left the floor cleaner than when we started ! Highly recommend. Thank you Tom.
